This one is for commerical space. It's non-waterfront on highway 63, Alex City. It's across the highway from the turn off to Wind Creek Park. It has offices and a bunch of u store it buildings. For sale now for $390k.

Scrushy Lake Martin home auction results
The auction of ex HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy's Lake Martin home went as expected. That is, no one placed a bid for the home nor the hangar at Willow Point airfield. The plaintiff's attorney, John Somerville, was he only bidder to raise his card this morning. The closing price was $435,000 for the hangar and $7.4 million for the waterfront home and lots. The opening bid for the home and lots was $4 million, made by the Sherrif. He asked and asked for other bids but the crowd of onlookers was silent. Then Somerville raised his card and raised the bid - to $7.4 million. Going once, twice, sold. That was it. The whole thing was over at 11:05. The rest of the time I spent getting video of the lawyers explaining what happened.

Lawyer explains
Attorney John Somerville explains some of the finer points surrounding the auction of Richard Scrushy's Lake Martin home. The HealthSouth shareholders had it auctioned today to take full possession, in what they termed as the first step in selling it to get full value returned to the shareholders.

The whole auction lasted for about 5 minutes.
